Aylott boosts Deloitte’s fortified top team in Cambridge
Business advisory firm Deloitte has promoted two of its senior staff in Cambridge to director – James Stevens and Paul Cooper – and welcomes partner, Chris Aylott, transferring from the firm’s Shanghai office.
James Stevens, a director in Deloitte Private, specialises in providing advice to wealthy families and their businesses.
James co-leads Deloitte’s UK trust business and his areas of professional interest include UK capital taxation (particularly inheritance tax), landed estates, advising UK and offshore trustees, and advising individuals with complex residence and domicile positions.
Paul Cooper has been promoted to a director in the Audit team and his particular specialisms include the food and biotech sectors, Paul is a significant part of the Global Agribusiness practice and his main focus is working with public and private businesses in the agribusiness and food sectors.
International Audit partner, Chris Aylott joins the Cambridge team, after working for the last 11 years in the firm’s Shanghai office.
During his time in China, Chris has been managing relationships across Asia for UK audit clients with operations in the region. He has worked with many of Deloitte’s largest global audit clients.
