EBCam to deliver online ‘reward and benefits’ masterclass

EBCam Employee Benefits Ltd, is hosting a series of free online events aimed at HR and finance professionals in and around Cambridge.

The event, which was originally planned to be held in person, has had to be adapted in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and will now be screened via Zoom on October 14 and 15, says co-founder James Bolton.

The focus of the two-day event will be around three key areas; health, wealth and lifestyle. It includes a wide range of speakers including representatives from Aviva, Vitality, HealthShield, YuLife, HealthAssured, Calm People, WrkIt, The Smart Working Revolution, Confluence Tax and Cushon.

Over the two day event, participants will hear about important key issues businesses face such as supporting employees’ mental and physical wellbeing, ethical, responsible and sustainable pension investments and whether this will become the new default option, using technology to enhance your employee wellbeing plus much more.

James Bolton said: “We are really excited about this event and have had a really excellent response to people signing up already. We had planned to hold this event in person but as time moved it on it became apparent it either wouldn’t be possible, or responsible, to do so.

“Therefore, much like everybody else has had to do – we adapted! We are really excited to have such a fabulous line-up of speakers over the two-days. Peoples’ emotional and financial wellbeing have been pushed to the limit over the past few months; with employees mostly working from home it is difficult for employers and managers to truly gauge how their team are feeling.

“On top of this, many people have found themselves furloughed, or worse still out of a job and as a result of the pandemic financial worries are sadly on the up. This event will enable employers to better understand what they can do to support employees at a time when it really will be needed most.”

You can register your interest via Eventbrite; you will then be contacted by EBCam in September to ask you to confirm which session(s) you wish to sign up to. You are able to sign up to as many of the sessions as you wish, and each session will last no longer than 45 minutes. You can also jbolton [at] ebcam.co.uk (email James Bolton).
