Munchy Seeds bags national deal with Waitrose

Suffolk food producer Munchy Seeds is celebrating a new deal to supply top supermarket chain, Waitrose.

The new contract will see Munchy Seeds' 125g packs of Honey Roasted, Mega Omega and Mild Chilli seed mixes heading to 120 Waitrose stores across the UK from the start of May.

Lucinda Clay, co-founder of Munchy Seeds, said: “We are so delighted to have signed this deal to supply Waitrose as it gives consumers from all over the country the chance to get their hands on our nutrition and flavour-packed snacks.

“This is obviously a very tough time for small businesses such as ourselves, so it's fantastic to have something positive to shout about and for a great Suffolk artisan business such as ourself to get national support from such a reputable retailer as Waitrose.”

Launched in 1999, Munchy Seeds is the most established seed snack brand in the UK. In 2019, it rebranded and introduced a selection of new flavours to its range.

Already available from Sainsbury's, The Co-op and Ocado, this latest deal with Waitrose will help it on its mission to shake up snacking with nutrition-rich products.
