Operating from a new head office in Witham, XSI Management comprises XS Items founders Ian Montgomery and Cliff Haviland, who are joined by Gareth Millar, Brian Taylor and Len Dorr.

Millar is the main driving force behind the current XS Items eBay presence, Taylor is an experienced franchising executive and Dorr a US based business strategist keeping his eye on activities across the Atlantic.

XS Items, which provides a complete eBay selling service for individuals and businesses in exchange for a percentage of the sale price, has been operating since last September. In that time, demand for the service has greatly increased and since July, XS Items franchise opportunities have been available.

Montgomery said: “These are exciting times for XS Items. Demand for our expertise has grown rapidly and we are now actively franchising the business.

“Over the next 12 months we will be able to concentrate our efforts from the new head office in Witham as we develop the XS Items brand across the UK.”

The new head office at Dickens House, Guithavon Street in Witham offers a central location to XS Items’ existing branches in Chelmsford, Colchester and Ipswich.

XSI Management aims to establish several new franchises over the next four months, with a further 20 planned during 2007.
