Pursuit technology meets all milestones for Tyco agreement

Pursuit Dynamics has announced that its innovative and versatile PDX fluid processing technology has met all the initial milestones laid out in the licensing agreement with Tyco Fire & Building Products, the world’s largest provider of fire suppression equipment.Pursuit Dynamics has announced that its innovative and versatile PDX fluid processing technology has met all the initial milestones laid out in the licensing agreement with Tyco Fire & Building Products, the world’s largest provider of fire suppression equipment.

The news from Tyco, which has the exclusive global license for the PDX FireMist fire suppression technology, pushed the Huntingdon firm’s share price up five per cent (6 pence) to 128p a share.

In addition, and outside the scope of the initial milestones, intermediate scale testing by Tyco has been ongoing to develop empirical models relating nozzle input parameters to fire suppression/extinguishing potential. This is seen as critical to the application of the technology to the broadest number of applications.

John Heathcote, Pursuit Dynamics’ chief executive, said: “Tyco’s delivery of its initial milestone development obligations gives us confidence that it is on track to meet subsequent milestones.

“We are delighted that they are approaching the goal of commercialisation with as much enthusiasm as we have and that our objective to get our technology to market as rapidly as possible is shared.”
