In the six months to the end of May, the Cambridge company saw a 95 per cent growth in the number of set top boxes shipped to 199,000 (102,000).

Revenues grew 73 per cent to £13.48m (£7.78m) and a pre-tax loss of £0.9m in the first half of 2005 was turned to a £0.1m profit this time. The company doubled its gross profit from £2.6m last time to £5.28m. Since December 2003, Amino has shipped over 700,000 units.
