Brady shares soar after announcement

Shares in Brady plc, the Cambridge-based commodities trading software supplier, jumped 18.18 per cent after it announced that a major European commodities trading organisation had signed up its flagship product, Trinity version 600.

Details of the deal were undisclosed though it is expected that the initial implementation be complete in 2006 with a possible second phase continuing into 2007. Shares rose 5 pence to 32.5 pence on the day of the announcement.

Brady also revealed it has received a letter of intent which is expected to lead to a smaller agreement for the supply of the Opval product for freight trading.
