Whistler while you work as Cambridge firm plays key role

A Cambridge company is to play a key role in the long-term sustainability of what is destined to be one of the most environmentally friendly major sporting events of recent times.Data management firm, credit360, is to provide technology that will assist the glamorous Canadian ski resort of Whistler – host of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games – in becoming one of the most sustainable communities and holiday destinations in the world through the Games period and beyond. Whistler attracts over two million visitors a year.

The Resort Municipality of Whistler, renowned in Canada as a sustainability thought leader, will work with credit360’s web based system to assist the resort’s authorities in the collation and management of data for the implementation of ‘Whistler 2020’, the community’s long-term sustainability to help ensure its economic, social and environmental success and sustainability.

credit360’s web based data management and communication system will allow stakeholders from across the community to input the data to monitor Whistler’s progress relative to indicators around topics such as resident affordability, eco-system health or visitor experience.
