Autonomy Corporation plc, a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, expects to report record third quarter 2006 results, with revenues ahead of the top end of analyst estimates and a consequentially strong profit before tax performance both on an adjusted basis and under IFRS.Commenting on trading in the third quarter, Dr. Mike Lynch, group CEO of Autonomy said: “We are pleased to be able to report continued strong year-on-year growth in the third quarter, which is traditionally the weakest seasonally.

“Our leadership in the area of meaning based computing continues be extended and Autonomy will report further on some of the exciting developments seen in the quarter at the time of the results announcement on October 24.”

The Financial Times, one of the world’s leading financial newspapers, has signed an agreement to deploy Autonomy’s IDOL Server.

Autonomy’s agreement with the FT is based on software license and maintenance fees.
