Reciva looking for a good reception in Japanese market

Internet radio company, Reciva has taken a significant step towards global domination with the launch of the first Reciva-enabled product in the most gadget-hungry of all markets, Japan.

The Scitec Corporation’s IR-001W internet radio marks Reciva’s debut in the Japanese market.

Reciva produces internet radio modules which are then designed into products from global brand name radio manufacturers and consumer electronics companies.

Reciva’s technology is the only one out there to support RealAudio -accounting for 40 per cent of online broadcasts - as well as other major formats: Microsoft Windows Media, AAC and MP3.

Giles Hutchison, CEO of Reciva said, “Following the successful launch of Reciva enabled products in Europe and the US, we are delighted to confirm the move into Japan as we progress towards establishing global availability of Reciva products and technology. The Scitec IR-001W represents the latest internet radio product in the Reciva pipeline and we will be announcing a number of further products and services throughout the year.”
