CDT enjoys blockbuster
Cambridge Display Technology, a pioneer in the development of polymer organic light emitting diode (P-OLED) technology, has increased revenues by 36 per cent to £10.5m for 2005.
The figure was boosted by a blockbusting last quarter – a record three months for the business – when revenues hit £4.23m.
The sale of its shares in Litrex pumped extra money into the coffers, giving a net profit for the fourth quarter of £5.79m. Overall, the full year loss was slashed by 39 per cent to £7.99m. CDT ended the year with £18.1m cash.
