Argentine police to use Sepura technology
Mendoza Police in Argentina will use Sepura SRH3500 TETRA hand-held radios and SRM3500 mobiles to improve communications and resource mobilisation across the force. The win represents Cambridge based Sepura's first major contract with an Argentine civil police force. Mendoza, one of 23 provinces in Argentina, has recently invested in a new TETRA communications infrastructure and deployment of the first phase will be completed by the end of 2006.
Sepura's radio terminals will be used to improve communications between police officers. They will also enable staff at central control stations to match resources to demand and co-ordinate responses across the territory.
