Darktrace boosts California screening for reality TV pioneer

Darktrace Cambridge

Technology from Darktrace in Cambridge is being used by Bunim/Murray Productions – responsible for shows such as ‘Project Runway’, ‘The Real World’, and ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ – to repel cyber attacks.

The California company says Darktrace is already paying its way in protecting its IP.

Bunim/Murray Productions is a reality television pioneer and its programs have been recognised by Emmy, Peabody, and People’s Choice Awards. With the protection of its IP a priority, Bunim/Murray chose Darktrace AI to secure its networks and award-winning content.

Gabe Cortina, VP of Technology, Bunim/Murray Productions, said: “Within one week of installing Darktrace, the Enterprise Immune System notified us to threats and vulnerabilities we had been totally unaware of.

“Many of our employees bring in devices from home but we had not realised this was introducing viruses and malicious software into our corporate network.”
