Dublin tech company acquires Emailcenter UK

Xtremepush, an Irish-owned multi-channel analytics and engagement firm, has acquired Northants-based Emailcenter UK for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see the Dublin technology firm instantly more than double in size.

Emailcenter, founded in 2001 in Towcester, was an early innovator in exploiting the market potential of email in customer relationship management. The business has over 200 enterprise customers across 6 main verticals including agencies, travel, leisure, E-commerce, insurance and Government.

Its clients include Saga Group and Ethiopian Airlines while Gordon Ramsay Group, the Natural History Museum, Visit Britain and Go Compare are among consumer brands working with the company.

Xtremepush CEO Tommy Kearns said: “Emailcenter are experts in the enterprise Email Service Provision market (ESP), and have been for over 15 years. They have evolved to become the email marketing platform of choice for some of the UK’s biggest brands, and this acquisition provides an ideal platform to market a complete multi-channel solution, giving Xtremepush a unique digital marketing offering internationally.”
