OKRA Technologies goes Dutch with new base in Leiden

OKRA Technologies, based at St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge, has opened a new office in Leiden, Netherlands.

The move places its AI technology in the midst of Leiden Bio Science Park, the leading biomedical hotspot in the Netherlands.

The park hosts over 100 dedicated biomedical companies, including several large pharmaceutical entities of the Johnson & Johnson Group, as well as dozens of innovative startups. It also ranks among the top five most successful science parks in Europe.

OKRA, which has close ties to Delft University of Technology, is on a mission to become the world’s most trustworthy AI analytics engine for healthcare. It raised $4.16m in a Series A round led by entrepreneur Jim Cockburn earlier this year.
