New employment lawyers at Buckles

Peterborough law firm Buckles Solicitors LLP has recruited two employment law specialists. Peterborough law firm Buckles Solicitors LLP has recruited two employment law specialists.

Solicitor Christina Merrington joins from EMW Law in Milton Keynes and has over 10 years experience of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She also advises on corporate immigration work.

Assisting her in the employment team will be newly qualified solicitor Beverley Smith who will remain with the firm after completing her two year training contract. She has been exposed to many different aspects of law whilst training at Buckles but particularly excelled in the commercial arena.

Head of the Company Commercial department, partner Nigel Moore, said: “To recruit a proven employment law specialist solicitor like Christina demonstrates our continuing commitment to add strength and depth across our commercial teams. Christina is a dedicated employment lawyer and her knowledge and experience will prove to be a huge asset to our clients and our commercial team.”

In recent months, Buckles has added other new faces to its commercial teams, including additional commercial property and construction specialists.
