Deal done for £750k riverside site in Lowestoft

Oulton Broad boating river

Savills, on behalf of a private client, has sold Broadview Caravans, a six acre development plot in Lowestoft, Suffolk, to Tingdene Group from a guide price of £750,000.

The park has permission for 55 static caravans, 15 touring caravans and camping boats alongside the Oulton Broad, a renowned boating river.

Although long established, Broadview Caravans has not been used in recent years providing opportunity for a complete redevelopment. Amenities including mains water and electricity are installed on the site.

Richard Prestwich, associate director in the leisure and trade related team at Savills, said: “Broadview Caravans has long been established as a caravan park and provides a blank canvas for the new owner to put their mark on the site.

“Due to the close proximity to the popular town of Lowestoft and the coastline, we expect the park to be popular with visitors once opened.”
