Kbiosystems specialises in the design and manufacture of laboratory instruments with particular expertise in automated microplate handling systems. It reported revenue of £3.8 million in the year ended March 31, 2020.

Kbiosystems will continue to operate from its existing premises and will be integrated into Porvair’s Laboratory division.

“Together the businesses have a compelling offering for laboratories seeking to automate their sample testing processes.”
