Domino’s Dallas coup

Cambridge inkjet innovator, Domino Printing Sciences, has acquired leading US RFID deployment specialist, Enterprise Information Systems, Inc (EIS) for £1.1m.

Based in Dallas, EIS specialises in the deployment of RFID technology integration to provide traceability solutions throughout the supply chain and will be incorporated into Domino’s Integrated Solution Group.

The combined business is expected to add considerable strength to Domino’s offering and delivery of integration capabilities throughout the US market.

EIS will continue to function from its base in Dallas and operate under the EIS brand name as a Domino company.

Domino is paying cash. Deferred consideration is also payable based on the operating profits of the business, subject to a maximum of £4.6m over a five-year period dating from January 1, 2006.
