Northants manufacturer gets funding package

Fenton Precision Engineering, a Northants based manufacturing company, has agreed a new funding package with NatWest, designed to help grow the business over the coming years.

Based in Finedon, Fenton was founded in 1970 and is a manufacturer of plastic injection moulds and high pressure aluminium dies.

In recent years the company has added a purpose built Cad Cam extension and PC based machining centres to their premises and is now in a position to offer its customer base a full service from conception to the manufacturer and trailing of production injection moulds.

The company underwent a management buy out in 2000 and this latest financing package is designed to help push forward the growth strategy of the existing management team under the leadership of MD, Alan Atkins.

The deal has been structured by the NatWest with additional funding packages also provided by RBS Invoice Finance and the asset finance provider Lombard. Ken Shipway of Shipway & Co Accountants helped structure the transaction on behalf of the management team.
