Rustons completes £200k order

Huntingdon-based Rustons Engineering (RECO) has completed a £200,000 order to supply 13 compact tractors and a variety of other machinery to the Countrywide Consortium Ltd, one of the UK’s leading grounds maintenance contractors.

Countrywide ordered the machinery to work on a major contract from the Ministry of Defence to provide grounds maintenance, including grass and hedge cutting and landscaping projects, at a number of sites in Eastern England.

The contract includes nine Kioti CK30 30hp tractors with hydrostatic transmission and four Kioti DK901C 90hp tractors with manual transmission and luxury cabs.

Four front loaders have been supplied for use with the CK30 models, and RECO has also supplied two Ferri TP61 hedgecutters and a 1.8-metre-wide SGG finishing mower.
