RSL lines up £300m haul

Raytheon Systems Ltd in Harlow has completed the third and final engineering build of the assessment phase of the Joint Effects Tactical Targeting System (JETTS), a suite of automated software tools for use by military headquarters staff to manage and coordinate the sensor-to-shooter cycle.It will now undergo extensive testing and user evaluation at the British Army’s JETTS integration and test facility in Warminster prior to final acceptance and a potential £300m windfall.

Subject to UK MoD approval it will move into the larger Demonstration and Manufacture Phases leading to operational deployment.

The value of RSL’s JETTS contract is anticipated to be some £10m with follow on work for the manufacture phase estimated at around £300m.
