NEC deal secured by confident NXT

NEC, Japan’s leading PC manufacturer, has added three NXT-equipped desktop PCs to its best-selling VALUESTAR range and two NXT-equipped laptops to its LaVie T series for use as both entertainment centres and powerful computers.

The VALUESTAR X range of premium desktop PCs features a high performance water-cooling mechanism that delivers an extremely quiet computer.

The new VX780/FD model incorporates a 20” screen equipped with AUTHENSOUNDWIDE III - an NXT SurfaceSound-based audio solution that transforms the frame surrounding the screen into stereo loudspeakers.

The two new LaVie T laptops, LT900/FD and LT700/FD, are equipped with NXT SoundVu technology, whereby the screen is also the speaker.

The new models have just this week gone on sale in Japan.
