HSBC £300k helps print firm expand into new HQ
Cambridge-based printer, Langham Press, has acquired and relocated to a new premises at Lion Works Business Park following a £330,000 commercial mortgage from HSBC UK.
The move to its new 9,000 sq ft site has enabled Langham Press to improve efficiencies and create a better environment for its staff thanks to its size and open office layout, allowing staff members to work more closely together.
It has also provided the family-run company with added security and control over its future, providing a permanent location within a vibrant business hub.
Elizabeth Nolan, financial director of Langham Press, said: “It has always been part of our business plan to buy our own premises as you’re never quite in control when you rent.
“When the opportunity to purchase this new space arose, we immediately approached HSBC UK. The bank was hugely supportive from the outset and was happy to provide us with the commercial mortgage we needed to achieve our goal.
“We can now focus on establishing ourselves as the printer of choice in the area and feel confident about continuing to service local businesses and organisations for many years to come.”
Formed in July 2012, Langham Press provides a wide range of digital and lithographic printing solutions to customers including local businesses, charities, educational establishments, designers and publishers.
The company also works with many departments within the University of Cambridge.
