High velocity as Amazon e-commerce agency expands again

Velocity Commerce, a full-service Amazon e-commerce agency based in Cambridge, has unveiled a fresh growth spurt after impressive expansion last year.

After expanding headcount with 20 hires in 2020, Velocity has introduced four more staff in the New Year and is now advertising for more people. Remote working has enabled the business to cherry pick top talent.

PJ Scott, co-founder and director of Velocity Commerce, said: “Although the pandemic has caused massive disruption to the jobs market, digital and ecommerce companies like ours are continuing to grow at a rapid rate.

“I feel incredibly proud of how each and every member of the team has adapted to the ‘new normal’ of work over the past year and how everyone has remained resilient and continued to build on and develop their knowledge so that we are providing our clients with the best service possible.”

Established in 2013, Velocity Commerce is a full-service Amazon agency with an experienced team specialising in Amazon marketing, Amazon content optimisation, Amazon SEO, copywriting, graphic design, data and analytics, international sales, supply chain and Amazon merchandising.

As an e-commerce agency, Velocity Commerce works with consumer brands of all sizes to help them grow their eBay and Amazon businesses worldwide.

Velocity Commerce currently manages and retails product ranges on Amazon and eBay for a wide variety of partners, including: Brita, Nextbase, Hoover, Hasbro and Sony.

It distributes directly from its own warehouse and offers brands an intelligent outlet for end of line as well as returned and refurbished stock helping to prevent excessive wastage of useable and resalable products.
