Howard Group adds Steele to property proposition

Sian Steele, who until recently headed up PwC’s thrusting new Cambridge office, has joined the boards of property powerhouses Howard Investments and Howard Ventures as a non-executive director from September 1.

With more than 30 years of national and international private business experience, Sian brings new skills and breadth of knowledge to Howard Group.

Sian joins Howard Group at a significant time as the company embarks on a fresh strategy to develop into new markets and strengthen existing relationships, whilst looking towards its centenary in 2035.

Patrick Bushnell, chairman of Howard Group said: “We are delighted that Sian has agreed to join the board. She brings a vast range of experiences and skills gained from many years at senior level within PwC.

“With an existing board rich in property experience, Sian brings an entirely new dimension, which is most welcome. As a business with both strong and effective family and board governance, Sian’s experience of working within multi-generational family businesses will be invaluable.”

Sian Steele added: “The family and board of Howard Group have shown great entrepreneurial spirit in bringing the business so far and demonstrated great drive and determination to achieve continued purposeful growth heading towards their centenary year in 2035.

“I am delighted to be joining the board of such a well governed family business and being part of a team with clear focus on values, purpose and creating a meaningful legacy.”
