New managing partner at EY in Cambridge
EY has announced the promotion of Stuart Wilkinson to new office managing partner in Cambridge to lead the office and continue its growth in the East region.
He takes over the reins from Nick Gomer who is retiring from the business after 40 years.
Wilkinson is joined by partner Ruth Logan, who has relocated from EY’s Belfast office, and newly promoted associate partner Lauren Houghton, as the business looks to invest and expand its presence across the region.
Wilkinson, who is also head of tax for the East region, will lead a team of tax, assurance, transaction and advisory professionals who provide services across the spectrum, including local government, large plc., the mid-market and startups.
He said: “The East is a hugely diverse region, with a rich heritage in sectors including life sciences, technology, agri-tech and many others. I’m looking forward to growing our service capabilities and the team here in Cambridge as we have ambitions to increase our market share within the Private Middle Market and work more closely with key stakeholders in the region.”
Ruth Logan joins from EY’s Belfast office where she established a new Audit Centre of Excellence. Lauren Houghton works in the Audit team and began her career as an EY graduate in 2006. She joined the team in Cambridge in 2013, having spent time on secondment working with EY’s UK&I Chief Operating Officer on the implementation of a new global strategy for the business.
