OKRA ramps up in Cambridge and The Netherlands
OKRA Technologies, the leading AI company for healthcare and human outcomes has embarked on a recruitment drive in both Cambridge and Leiden in the Netherlands.
The startup, which raised $4.16m in March 2018, is looking to ramp up its numbers after expanding into larger office space at St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge earlier this month. OKRA is on the hunt for data scientists and AI software development specialists within the field of evidence-based artificial intelligence.
OKRA develops leading AI software (outcome prediction system, decision support system, prediction algorithms and matching algorithms) using the OKRA leading parallel computing platform.
OKRA aims to bring the right treatment to the right patient, in a fraction of the time, and at a fraction of the cost. OKRA helps healthcare stakeholders, local authorities and biopharma to make better decisions in real-time, and answer treatment related questions in different markets.
It is building its AI engine to answer millions of healthcare and business-related questions, providing predictions, answers and triggers for future business outcomes and KPIs in real-time.
At the time of the fundraising, founder and CEO Loubna Bouarfa (pictured) said: “The healthcare and global brands industries have been dominated by one-off insight studies. Both industries urgently need to shift to drive evidence-based outcomes continuously in real-time, so they can better adapt to a rapidly changing world.
“With our OKRA platform, we use our evidence-based AI engine to provide predictions, answers and trigger actions in real-time to maximise outcomes of patients, brands and clients.”
