Recruiters see ‘business as usual’ resume for executive search

Cambridge Network’s recruitment team has been catching up with recruiters working within the executive search sector. Keen to find out how this level of recruitment has been affected by the pandemic, they spoke with Joe Graziano at Growth EQ.

Claire Angus, head of the Network’s Recruitment Gateway, says: “It was clear that recruiting at a senior level was challenged in the initial stages of the pandemic, as with other sectors. Many companies looking to hire into leadership roles took a pause before continuing with recruitment strategies.

“This has changed now as confidence has grown, and it appears that the current situation is here to stay for some time. Business as usual has resumed and hires into leadership roles are continuing.

“As evidenced by the diverse vacancies advertised on our jobs board, this sector is busy right now, with many key roles available to candidates. It’s a bonus for employers and jobseekers alike that the market has opened up for candidates, meaning that they are able to look at global opportunities due to remote working.”

Joe Graziano will be joining the forthcoming Cambridge Network Virtual Jobs & Careers Fair on Tuesday 23 February.

As an expert who partners with clients to lead executive searches for key hires, Joe will be available to advise CEOs, VPs of Sales, Tech Directors, CTOs and Board level candidates.
