Sharpe move by Grant Thornton
The Cambridge office of financial and business advisers Grant Thornton has promoted Phil Sharpe to partner.
Sharpe joined Grant Thornton as an advisory director in 2014 and has more than 20 years’ corporate finance and wider advisory experience, having worked at senior level for other international firms, predominately in the Cambridge region with four years in London.
In his new role as partner, Sharpe will head the firm’s 30 strong, market leading advisory team, working to further invest in and grow its expert service offering.
As part of the Cambridge leadership team,Sharpe will also help to steer the future direction of the business across the county and wider region.
Sharpe said: “Cambridge is a vibrant city which is home to many dynamic, growth focused businesses and is expected to grow significantly in scale over the coming years. This strong market presents an exciting opportunity for our team and although we’re already at the forefront of the Advisory market, we feel there is more to go for.
