Airport passengers can get high on local vodka

A new Norfolk-produced ultra-premium English vodka has taken off at Norwich International Airport.

Wild Knight, the brainchild of Steph and Matt Brown, is now being stocked VAT-free at the airport’s duty free retail outlets and executive lounge areas.

Wild Knight is already making a name for itself across the UK and is eyeing export opportunities, according to Matt Brown. He said: “I am confident the deal will help the brand grow. We are very excited to be working with Norwich International Airport as this gives us a chance to reach a wider market beyond our shores.

“The executive lounge is the perfect place for our ultra-premium vodka and we hope that the people who try it will love it as much as we do.”

Laura Myhill (pictured), managing director of Norwich Travel Retail, added: “We were recommended to try Wild Knight English Vodka and from the moment we saw it we knew it would be a hit with our retail customers. It tastes amazing and looks fantastic on our shelves.”

Wild Knight is made from a single distillation using the finest Norfolk barley.
