New menswear shop to open in Cambridge
Premium menswear brand, Trotter & Deane, is opening a new premises on Sussex Street, Cambridge.
Let through Cheffins, unit 15–16 Sussex Street was previously the Cambridge Toy Shop and is in a prime retail location on one of Cambridge’s most sought-after streets.
Trotter & Deane has signed a 10-year lease and plans to open its doors to the public in early May. The company was founded in 1991 in Bury St Edmunds and has a commitment to British tailoring and a strong reputation developed over 25 years of trading.
Sussex Street will be the company’s second store and will help to reinforce the location’s reputation for independent, high end retailers.
The property leased by the company consists of both ground floor and basement floors and has over 1,000 sq ft of retail space.

Cheffins let the property on behalf of Sidney Sussex College. Trotter & Deane will be carrying out a programme of refurbishment ahead of the May opening.
