The flight from Las Vegas to Stansted leaves at 7:30 pm and arrives in London at 12:30 pm the next day. This means MAXjet will be offering the only evening non-stop service from Las Vegas to London.
CEO Gary Rogliano said: “The UK is the second largest market to visit Las Vegas and we are responding to customer demand for an affordable non-stop business class service from London. The addition of this new route also means that connections to and from US west coast are now much easier.”
Terry Morgan, MD of London Stansted Airport, said: “MAXjet continues to go from strength to strength and the launch of this new route to Las Vegas from Stansted is the best possible news.
“MAXjet passengers will now be able to travel between three of the most popular destinations in the US, with virtually unlimited connections throughout the US and over 160 destinations throughout the UK and Europe.”
MAXjet has also taken the opportunity to revise its existing schedule with later departure times from New York, Washington and London, effective October 1.
The six weekly New York flights will depart from Stansted at 11.45 am and the return flight will leave JFK at 8:15 pm.
From Washington DC, MAXjet’s four weekly flights will now depart Stansted at 3 pm and the return will depart Dulles at 8:30 pm.
MAXjet currently operates six weekly flights between New York JFK and London Stansted, and four weekly flights between Washington Dulles and Stansted.
With the planned addition of new aircraft in 2007, the airline plans to open new scheduled services to London from a number of major markets in key US destinations.
