Air Berlin offers direct services from Stansted to destinations across Germany; Alicante and Palma in Spain; and also operate UK domestic routes to Glasgow International, Manchester and Belfast.

CEO Joachim Hunold said: "Low-cost travel will only become more popular, and that means more competition. We always wanted to stand out from the rest with our high levels of customer service, and that is starting to feed back to us from surveys such as Skytrax.
“We are really delighted to have gone one better than last year and scooped the Worldwide award as well.”
The World Airline Awards are based on Skytrax's annual World Airline Survey which measures the customer satisfaction levels of over 13 million airline passengers from over 90 countries.
