Møller Centre and Wyboston Lakes honoured in M&IT Awards
The Møller Centre Cambridge team won the Best UK Management Training Centre gold award in the hospitality industry’s ‘Oscars’ – the M&IT Awards.
The team also picked up a bronze award for Best Conference and Banqueting Staff. It was the seventh time in the last eight years that Moller had struck gold in the Management Training Centre rankings.
Generally it was a good night for Cambridge and the East of England. Wyboston Lakes Resort won bronze in the Best UK Management Training Centre category. Robinson College Cambridge and Moller Centre were both finalists in the Best Academic Venue category.
The M&IT Awards are particularly highly coveted and competitive in the industry because they are decided by the votes of over 1200 Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine readers who include many clients of the venue. The criteria for their judgement include standards of excellence, quality of service and creative flair.
Gillian Secrett (pictured above), CEO of the Møller Centre said: “Winning the Best UK Management Training Centre award is a huge honour and reinforces our focus on learning and development with excellent client support from a team who truly understands and consistently delivers against the needs of our clients.
“This is the seventh time in the last eight years we have won gold in this category. I would like to acknowledge the professional and committed team here at Møller Centre and also thank our clients for this consistent acknowledgement of our expertise in learning and development.”
Wyboston Lakes Resort managing director Mark Jones commented: “Winning bronze is a tremendous achievement and wonderful recognition of the commitment of our whole team to delivering the highest standards at all times.
“We are dedicated to providing the ultimate training environment and service for our clients, with the latest in learning and development facilities helping to ensure that every event held at our venue is highly productive and a superb experience for everyone taking part.
“Following our recent achievement in being recognised as one of The Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to work for’ for the fifth consecutive year, this latest accolade has further boosted staff morale and added to an exciting start to 2018.”
