Affinia promotes itself as the fastest growing purpose-led, purpose-built accounting services firm with almost 700 people across 16 offices focusing on delivering for clients, colleagues and the local communities they serve.

Business Partners brings a team with a wealth of experience offering hands on financial management services. Working closely with their clients, they offer key finance functions, handle complex compliance matters and provide strategic advice to business leaders. They cover a number of sectors including professional services, science and technology with a particular interest in supporting start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Green & Purple provides fractional finance teams for founders and scaling businesses. Their work covers the full finance function, from day-to-day operations such as credit control and supplier payments through to management information, forecasting, investor reporting and wider commercial CFO support.

The team mainly support venture backed companies across Cambridge and London in the tech, life sciences and creative sectors. Their approach is tech led, using an app stack built around Xero to streamline everything from expenses, invoice approvals and consolidations to monthly reporting, helping clients build future proof finance processes.

Rob Allin, Director at Business Partners, said: “Right from our first meeting with Affinia, we could see that cultural fit was a priority for them. Their core values of clients, colleagues and the community resonated with us.

“We are now able to offer a broader range of services to our clients and have already seen the benefits of specialist tax, corporate finance and audit adding value to our clients.”

Lee Maughan, CEO of Green & Purple, said: “We took our time to find a partner that shares our values and will give us more depth, more support and more room to grow with the brilliant founders and entrepreneurs we work with. Nothing about our personality, team or how we show up for clients is changing. If anything, we get to double down on it and go for our next phase of growth.”

Rob Harden, Chief Development Officer of Affinia, says: “We’re delighted to bring Business Partners and Green & Purple into Affinia, with clear shared values and exceptional client service, we are excited about working together.”
