Back to the future as audit specialist Mason strengthens PEM leadership

With over 25 years’ experience in audit and assurance, Mason joins from RSM UK, where he was a Partner in the firm’s Cambridge office. He brings extensive technical knowledge and a proven track record of working alongside entrepreneurial private companies, mid-market venture capital and private equity backed businesses, as well as international groups across a diverse range of sectors.

Mason began his career with PEM as a trainee, qualifying in 1997. He has spent the majority of his career in the Cambridgeshire market, including senior positions with a prominent mid-tier national firm. This has given him a uniquely well-rounded perspective on the region’s business community and the challenges faced by growing and well-established organisations.

His broad sector insight – advising clients in technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and consumer market sectors – combined with a pragmatic and commercially-driven approach, makes him a valuable addition to PEM’s growing leadership team.
