An update to its TrackMaster 2X solution, TrackMaster 3X is an AI-powered, ceiling-mounted passive RFID system delivering real-time inventory visibility, now with three-foot location tracking precision and 99%+ accuracy.

Unveiled at RFID Journal LIVE! In Vegas, TrackMaster 3X sets a new global benchmark in passive RFID performance. The solution is said to offer:

• 99 per cent+ inventory accuracy in near real-time.
• Massive read coverage up to 4,500 sq ft with a single overhead reader.
• Real-time item location tracking with three feet – or one-meter – precision.
• 5–10 per cent observed sales uplift driven by full stock visibility, reduced markdowns and enhanced omnichannel fulfilment.
• Low total cost of ownership and rapid deployment.

At a time when the US retail sector loses over $100 billion annually to shrinkage, and consumers expect seamless omnichannel fulfillment, TrackMaster 3X gives retailers control and insight into inventory flow, at the highest level currently available.

“This is a major step forward for retailers looking to thrive in an always-on, inventory-driven world,” said Dr. Sabesan Sithamparanathan, Founder and President of PervasID.

“TrackMaster 3X turns your ceiling into a single-point, AI-powered inventory intelligence engine, no more blind spots, no more stockouts. With this level of location accuracy, retailers across the world can expect smarter operations, higher sales, and improved customer experiences, all with minimal hardware and a rapid ROI; all without the infrastructure burden of legacy systems.

“Unlike traditional RFID systems that rely on dense reader networks or manual handheld scanners and still suffer from interference and dead zones, TrackMaster 3X uses patented technology and AI-powered, advanced signal processing to take dead zones from 20 per cent to less than 1 per cent unread zones, even in complex store environments.

“That means fewer missed scans, faster replenishment and higher customer satisfaction. In short: It’s not just an RFID system. It’s the brain of a smarter, more profitable AI-powered retail operation – setting a new standard for smart retail.”

TrackMaster 3X is FCC, CE, and Asia-compliant and is being deployed in over 40 countries, including major North American retailers, TrackMaster is already redefining the economics of RFID adoption. With low integration and deployment costs, many retailers are seeing payback in under six months.

TrackMaster 3X also unlocks operational agility with real-time BOPIS (buy-online-pickup-in-store) integration, smart replenishment, and optimised merchandising and product placement, freeing up store associates to focus on customer service rather than stock checks.
