Christmas may be over but Turkey still on menu for Stansted
Turkish Airlines, one of the world’s largest carriers, will make its debut at the airport on 18 March, flying to Istanbul up to 15 times a week, opening up easy onward connections to 353 destinations across Asia, Africa, Australia and beyond.
Holidaymakers and business travellers will also have plenty of fresh options closer to home. Ryanair is adding flights to Malmo in Sweden from 1 April, twice weekly, and more services to Glasgow from 29 March.
easyJet will start flying to Paris Charles de Gaulle from 5 March, while AJet will launch flights to Bodrum in Turkey from 26 June.
Jet2.com is expanding its summer programme with new routes to Jerez in Spain from 1 May, Samos in Greece from 7 May, and La Palma in the Canary Islands from 26 October.
TUI will introduce flights to Kos from 7 May, and BA CityFlyer will start services to Olbia in Sardinia from 23 May.
