Recent Business Weekly Awards entrant Clinked is already globally successful, specialising in secure, cloud-based client portals. The privately owned company has entered two categories, the Cambridge Judge Business School Graduate Business of the Year and International Trade Champion.

Its parent company, Rabbitsoft Ltd, was established in 2008 in Cambridge with the Clinked brand making its debut in 2012.

Clinked serves over 3,000 clients across 22 countries, offering its platform in 16 languages. With its global headquarters in Station Road in Cambridge and two international offices, Clinked is well-positioned to cater to businesses and organisations worldwide.

Clinked is a cloud-based platform designed to facilitate collaboration and project management for businesses and organisations. Its primary purpose is to streamline communication, bolster teamwork and simplify secure file sharing – making it an essential tool for modern enterprises.

It is led by its founder and majority shareholder, Tayfun Bilsel, a seasoned IT professional who transformed an idea conceived during his graduate studies into a successful business.

Bilsel is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School to enhance his expertise, expand his network and support Clinked’s global growth.

Clinked has raised $1.165 million in funding, winning accolades such as the Red Herring 100 Europe Awards and Cisco British Innovation Gateway (BIG) Awards. It is now one of the most recognisable brands in the client portal space. In September 2022, Clinked launched the roll out of Version 2 of the product.

Bilsel said: “When Clinked was launched in 2012, our primary focus was connecting businesses with their clients to make them more productive and engaged in a branded, secure and easy to use space.

“Since then, Clinked has emerged as the world’s leading SaaS platform used as a customer portal or a virtual data room. We’re incredibly proud to announce that over the coming months we’ll be rolling out the new version of Clinked, which includes innovations that make the portal even faster and easier to use.”

As an approved supplier of the UK Government G-Cloud services, Clinked is included in the Government’s procurement framework for public bodies and serves several of its agencies as well as  local councils.

The platform is widely used in sectors such as accounting, legal, finance, government, education, consulting, and insurance. It supports numerous business functions, including R & D, marketing, sales, IT, customer support and HR.

With a solid market position and the recent launch of a new product version, Clinked’s revenue is anticipated to grow by at least 30 per cent in 2023. The company last year achieved a significant milestone by surpassing £1 million in revenue and is on track to exceed £1.5m this year.

It has clients in the UK, the US and an increasing number from the EU and beyond. Here they include The Home Office, Metropolitan Police, DEFRA and several UK councils, including Cambridgeshire County Council.

Entries to the Business Weekly Awards are being accepted until June 30, 2023.
