Creighton strengthens Howard Group property team

Cambridge-based property investor and developer Howard Group, has snared an experienced international operator with the appointment of Andy Creighton as Group Property Director.

Creighton will be responsible for overseeing Howard Group’s property activities, including its investment, development and asset management functions. He will also be appointed to the Board and join the executive team.

He has a long and distinguished track record in the property industry. He previously served as Director of Property at Henderson Global Investors, before joining Aberdeen PLC, a FTSE 250 investment company, where he was Head of UK Real Estate and subsequently Head of Investment Management for Europe.

Most recently, he was Head of Investment Management for Cromwell Property Group, a quoted Australian real estate investment group with operations across Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Creighton has extensive experience in property acquisitions and disposals, joint venture structuring, corporate transactions and multi-sector property investment and management.

This appointment comes at a pivotal time for Howard Group as it builds on its reputation and achievements as a long-standing family-owned company. Having experienced steady growth in recent years, the business is well positioned to further this track record of growth, actively exploring new investment and development opportunities.

The new man enjoys strong links to Cambridge, having studied at the University’s Downing College and invested in various assets in the city on behalf of institutional clients. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
