Headquartered in Oxfordshire, Intralink helps companies secure customers, partners and investors overseas and enables government agencies to grow their exports and attract foreign investment.

It is working with Business Weekly to help promote fresh trade for companies seeking alternatives to the troubled US market. APAC territories are its main domain but the business has just added India and South East Asia to its portfolio.

Graham Barker, head of MedTech and Life Science for Intralink, spoke at Business Weekly’s Killer50 Life Science reception in Cambridge last week and colleague Michal Waszkiewicz will briefly outline opportunities at a similar event for our Killer50 technology cohort at Mills & Reeve in Hills Road on Wednesday May 21.

The company explained to King’s Awards judges its distinctive approach of not just developing market expansion strategies but playing a hands-on role in helping clients secure commercial deals with international customers and partners. It demonstrated that this approach has so far enabled 1,500 organisations to generate more than £600 million in overseas revenues.

Intralink was also able to show that, during the past year, it helped companies from more than 20 nations grow their international sales. This included clients from the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, UAE, Israel, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland.

The company also demonstrated that it is increasingly working with government agencies, especially in the United States, the UK and the Middle East.

The company is a previous recipient of a Queen’s Award, together with a UK Government Made in the UK, Sold to the World Award and two US President’s Awards for Export Service.

Intralink CEO, Greg Sutch, said: “We’re over the moon to have won a King’s Award for Enterprise.

“It’s a fantastic endorsement of the talent and dedication of our staff, as well as the loyalty of our clients, and the success we’ve achieved together in the realm of international trade. It’s also a great recognition of the way our business has grown over the last six years and our ambitious plans to keep that up – plans we’ve taken significantly forward in the last month alone with our expansion into Southeast Asia and India.”

Intralink has a presence in 27 locations including Shanghai, Beijing, New Delhi, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, London, Paris, Silicon Valley, Boston and Toronto.
