From May 23, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights between Stansted and Olbia, offering convenient weekend departures and arrivals.

As British Airways’ largest route from Stansted, Olbia will sit alongside an extensive weekend schedule planned for Summer 2026, featuring popular destinations such as Florence (FLR), Split (SPU), Bergerac (EGC), Ibiza (IBZ), and Nice (NCE). Running until September 27, the flights will be operated by the airline's Embraer E190 aircraft.

Ciaran Brannigan, Commercial Director at London Stansted, said: "Sardinia is one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning destinations and we’re delighted to see British Airways add Olbia to its growing network from London Stansted. This new route will be a fantastic option for passengers looking for a getaway next summer."

Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer, added: "We're excited to grow our network and to be introducing direct flights from Stansted to Olbia, further enhancing our summer leisure schedule. This route will provide greater options and flexibility for those planning summer holidays in 2026."
