Natalie Minott named new Head of Office for HCR Hewitsons Cambridge

The appointment follows a spurt of continued growth for the firm which is already in the UK top 50. Highly rated in both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners sector guides, Minott is recognised as a leader in her field.
She joined HCR Hewitsons in 2017 and has strong relationships across the city, having advised prominent businesses in Cambridge and nationwide for over 20 years.
Inger Anson has led HCR Hewitsons’ Cambridge office since 2018. The Cambridge office has continued to grow, including a 12 per cent increase in the past 12 months alone, driven by rising client demand.
Anson has taken on the role of Head of HCR’s Technology and Innovation Team, a nationwide position, leading a specialist team advising clients across England and Wales, while continuing in her role as Head of Corporate for Cambridge.
Minott said: “I’m delighted to take on this role, leading HCR’s Cambridge office. The team here is fantastic, specialists in their fields, and the firm’s growing status in Cambridge is clear, having been named Cambridgeshire Law Firm of the Year for the past two years.
“With the continued support of Inger and the Cambridge partners, I look forward to leading the next chapter for HCR in Cambridge, ensuring our passion for people culture remains at the heart of what we do, while continuing to deliver exceptional legal services to our clients across Cambridgeshire.”
Anson added: “The past seven years of leading the Cambridge office has been an incredible journey. While a short period in the context of the firm’s history, which dates back to 1796, the growth and impact of HCR Hewitsons in Cambridge has been significant.
“We’ve been fortunate that those who joined us during this time have shared our values and our vision to build an innovative, different kind of law firm in the city, one that continues to be welcomed by clients.
“Natalie is an exceptional leader and I’m excited to pass on the Cambridge baton and look forward to seeing Natalie lead HCR’s Cambridge office into a future that continues to be shaped by our people and our clients.”
