New role at Domino to strengthen global manufacturing partnerships

Domino has appointed Josie Harries as Global Business Development Director – OEM with a remit to strengthen collaborative relationships with global powerhouses, identify growth opportunities and simplify collaboration. Top of the agenda for Domino is helping manufacturers to reduce waste, improve sustainability and deliver value through reliable solutions and advanced printing expertise, faster and smarter.
Harries joined Domino in 2005 after completing her PhD in Chemistry and over the last 20 years has worked in many different areas of the business including R & D, where she led the development of inks for a variety of applications and printing technologies. Latterly she moved into leadership roles and most recently built the Programme Management Office to strengthen how Domino delivers new product development projects.
She says: “My remit focuses on designing and delivering Domino’s global OEM strategy, and I am really excited to move into it at such a pivotal time. It encompasses customer insight, product innovation and commercial strategy to drive long-term growth across our sectors.
“I am looking forward to getting closer to our customers, understanding their challenges, uncovering opportunities and using these insights to shape the delivery of impactful strategies. I am also keen to leverage my strong technical foundation and ability to lead change and to champion a culture of experimentation to help us move faster, smarter and to stay ahead of what is next.”
Harries is also leading the Women@Domino network, which is a space where women and their allies can connect, learn and grow to elevate women in their careers. She adds: “I am passionate about helping women in the workplace and through the Network we run events to help members explore their career journeys, build their personal brand and strengthen their networks, as well as supporting national initiatives such as International Women’s Day.
“Outside of work, I volunteer with the Women in Project Management network at the Association for Project Management (APM) and serve on the Management Interest Group committee at the Royal Society of Chemistry.”
