President Trump flies into Stansted as Air Force One returns to the airport for State visit

Touching down shortly after 9pm, the President and First Lady received an official welcome from a line-up including Viscount Hood, Lord-in-Waiting, on behalf of the King, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and London Stansted Managing Director Gareth Powell.

This marks the ninth visit of Air Force One to London Stansted, which first hosted the aircraft in 2009 during a visit by then US President Barack Obama.

Air Force One was handled by Harrods Aviation at its private facility on the opposite side of the airfield from the main passenger terminal, ensuring minimal disruption to regular airport operations.

The presidential aircraft was accompanied by support aircraft, helicopters, and ground vehicles, while around 100 journalists and photographers from across the globe captured the moment.
