The acquisition follows the successful integration of Verlingue and Brunsdon Employee Benefits in 2023 and reflects its continued commitment to strengthening its Employee Benefits proposition in the UK.

EBCam is a highly respected Employee Benefits consultancy with an experienced team and an impressive portfolio of clients. With shared values, goals and ambitions, the partnership represents a strong cultural fit, and Verlingue looks forward to welcoming the EBCam team into the wider organisation.

Mike Latham, CEO at Verlingue, said: “We are delighted to welcome EBCam to Verlingue. EBCam is a highly respected consultancy with an experienced team and an impressive portfolio of clients. This is an important step in our continued expansion in the UK Employee Benefits market and we are excited about the future ahead as we grow alongside our new colleagues.”

James Bolton, CEO, EBCam, added: “We are proud of what the EBCam team has built and excited about what this partnership will mean for our clients and colleagues. We look forward to working alongside Verlingue as we continue to deliver excellent outcomes for clients.”

Verlingue is one of Europe’s largest independent insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants, with a heritage of more than 90 years. Founded in France and still family-owned, the business is now led by the fourth generation of the Verlingue family.

Today, the Verlingue Group employs more than 1,600 people across five European countries - France, the UK, Switzerland, Portugal and Italy - and places over €3.2 billion in premiums annually. In the UK, its 200-strong team operates from six regional offices (Manchester, Birmingham, London, Staines, Gloucester and Redhill), combining local expertise with international reach to deliver risk management-led solutions that protect our clients’ people, assets and liabilities.

• For the first 12 months of the latest acquisition, EBCam will continue to operate separately, as both organisations take a measured approach to onboarding and collaboration, Verlingue has stressed.
