Wealth of experience as new role accelerates growth from Cambridge for Evelyn Partners
Drew has been with the firm for 25 years. As Regional Managing Partner, he is also responsible for leading the professional services team in the firm’s Birmingham office, where he has successfully trebled both headcount and revenue in the last four years.
The appointment follows the firm’s acquisition of Ashcroft Partnership in 2023 which gave the group a presence for its professional services business in Cambridge.
The 43-strong team, operating from a base in Trumpington High Street, offers clients a range of assurance, corporate finance, business and personal tax services.
With ambitious expansion plans for Cambridge and the wider East Anglia region, Drew will focus on growing the business across its professional service lines, expanding into new sectors – such as medical and healthcare, pharma and AgriTech. He will also leverage more widely Evelyn Partners’ capabilities and expertise in R & D, global mobility, assurance, outsourcing and advisory services.
The Cambridge team was recently expanded with new senior hires from Big Four firms. Suzy Hawkey and Mark Prince – formerly of Deloitte and KPMG, respectively – joined at the back end of last year.
Hawkey is a Director of Private Client Services and Prince an audit Partner, focused on building the Cambridge audit team and proposition.
