William Clarke joins Cheffins from BioMed Realty

The ex-Savills ace was most recently with US-based BioMed Realty where he held the role of Leasing Director in Cambridge. Before that he spent more than a decade at Savills advising on disposal and acquisition of office, tech and life science assets.

His new role will continue to focus on the leasing agency discipline across the sector.

Clarke says: “Cambridge’s commercial property market is highly specialised and innovation-driven and as the city consolidates its position as a global hub for technology and life sciences, I’m excited to continue my career journey in a market in which I am already familiar.”

Cheffins’ Commercial Department is one of the most active in the region, with involvement in some of the largest and highest-value transactions across East Anglia. With a focus on life sciences and the tech industry, Cheffins is the retained agent at three of the Cambridge Cluster’s largest science parks, Babraham Research Park, Granta Park and Chesterford Research Park, and has been instrumental in the highest value lettings in these locations in the sector.
