BDO has promoted almost 2,000 of its people across its UK offices, including 24 newly promoted partners across its Audit, Tax, Consulting, Risk & Outsourcing, Deals and Central Operations business areas.

The partner promotions follow the appointment of 16 new external partners since January, taking BDO’s partnership to more than 500.

Peter Harrup, Regional Managing Partner in East Anglia at BDO said: “These promotions demonstrate BDO's investment in our people. Their talent, commitment to clients and hard work are critical to the overall success of the East Anglia team.

“Our strength as a business comes from the impact our people deliver to their clients, to the communities we operate in, to our planet, and always through a lens of good governance. I look forward to seeing the careers of our people continue to develop and grow and want to congratulate the 31 new promotions.”

Of the national cohort of newly promoted partners, more than a third are based in regions outside of London and 40 per cent are female, supporting BDO’s commitment of achieving a 30 per cent female partnership by the end of 2030 as a signatory of the HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter.
